Hiwj.org – Some people believe that Covid-19 was born in a virus laboratory in Wuhan, China, where the first Covid-19 outbreak took place. Mike Pompeo, US Secretary of State, claimed that there is a very strong evidence that the virus is originated from the said laboratory. The laboratory refereed to by Pompeo is the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV). It is a specialized lab that studies viruses in Wuhan city, ground zero SARS-Cov-2, the virus behind the Covid-19 outbreak.
The accusation is, literally, a continuation of what was said by the US President, Donald Trump last month. He claimed that China was responsible for the global pandemic. The US President said that “Beijing has made a terrible mistake and wouldn’t want to admit it.” However, Trump declared that he “was not allowed to spread” the evidence of his allegations when he was asked.
Now, the US Intelligence has reported about the alleged lab in Wuhan the cause of the pandemic “not yet reached a conclusion”. Furthermore, the organization also stated that “there is no indication that the virus was either made by humans or genetically modified.”
It’s nothing new, honestly speaking, to find allegations that China is the culprit. After all, when SARS hit the world in 2002, Russia believed that the virus was originated from a Chinese-owned laboratory.
There are so many conspiracy allegations behind the outbreak of Covid-19. But first, why don’t we talk about the murder of Chinese Researcher in the US? He was a researcher, by the way. Covid-19 researcher.
Death of a Covid-19 Researcher
Bing Liu (37), an assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh’s Faculty of Medicine, was found dead on Saturday (5/2) at his home on the outskirts of town.
Multiple gunshots were found on his head, neck, chest, and arms, according to the local police department.
Authorities identified the gunman as a 46-years-old software engineer, Hao Gu. They also claimed that Hao Gu committed suicide after returning to his car. It is known that Bing Liu and Hao Gu were acquaintances. The investigators determined that this shooting was triggered by a long disputer over a woman. Investigators also claimed that there was no evidence that the case was related to Liu’s research work and the current global pandemic.
Users of the biggest Chinese social media platform, Weibo, took their time to build conspiracies over the murder of Liu.
Numerous comments mentioned that Liu was killed because he was supposed to reveal the mystery of the Covid-19 origin. Chinese officials and media previously promoted claims that the virus was brought to Wuhan by the American troops.
Well, it couldn’t be any more of a coincidence, could it?
As the investigation went deeper, it was found that Liu was an extraordinary researcher who almost succeeded in making a significant finding to understand the cellular mechanism of the Covid-19 infection.
